EVENT START-UP
Welcome
to NLA-International’s Event start-up page. We offer the ability to provide
your group or collective the paperwork and pre-designed layout to launch your
own local, regional, or national event.
For
over 30 years the NLA has produced or helped to form and create events across
North America. For our first 20 years, we operated stand-alone Living In
Leather events, then focused for 18 years on partnering in helping our Chapters
a.k.a. Clubs put forth their own events. Now the NLA focuses the Living In
Leather event to either partner with larger sexual human rights organizations
or putting forth a stand-alone event. For a brief history of our event

Many organizations have events, and some organizations are just event focused. Such as IML, CLAW, IMsL, or MAL. Something we take great pride in has been helping either through donation or direct assistance, helping our organization members start their own events, making an impact in their local communities. Our desire has always been to create BDSM/Fetish organizations in cities and locations where the communities need education and resources to build up their ability to perform activism or outreach.
We
offer the bylaws and structure for any event that you would like to form.
We offer assistance with incorporation, set up, as well as constructing
duties and policies for your event. We require that you must have five (5)
people 18 or older to start an event. Each will be required to sign up for a
one (1) year membership with NLA-International before the formation processes
can begin. After one (1) full year of oversight, advisement, and interaction,
the clubs are free to operate with no further oversite or input from the NLA
Board. The event will then be offered the opportunity to join as an Affiliate
organization or Commercial organization, depending on if they are for-profit or
non-profit, to continue to advertise their event to the membership and public
through our resources.

desire is to continue building clubs, events and organization that impact our
lifestyle.
